Is artificial grass suitable for dogs who like to dig?

Artificial grass is highly durable, with a tough backing. By your dog digging artificial grass, it is rare for the lawn to be damaged or dug up.

​

We do recommend waiting at least 24 hours before allowing your dog to use the lawn. This allows the adhesive to set properly around the edges of the grass, and along any joins.

​

If digging is a common habit for your dog, then it might be worth considering putting in a sand box or having some areas of natural earth to allow for this behaviour.
