Can artificial grass be installed in the winter?
Artificial grass can be installed all year round. In fact, artificial grass is actually best installed in the autumn and winter months as the ground isn’t as hard as in the summer.
The durable nature of artificial lawns means that they can be enjoyed whatever the time of year, without the risk of damage or excessive mud, and with a quick drying time following rain.
Wintry conditions such as snow and frost don’t cause problems, but as with any outdoor surface, care should be taken if ice has formed. We work all year round, in all weathers and it’s extremely rare for an installation to be postponed due to weather.
